I believe it is based on CanadaPost charges for size, weight and destination.

It's usually either $10 or $15 to me in the US. You can email Meeta anytime to ask questions - they're great!

It`s best to email them.

Mike, i live in the UK and i usually email Metha and Garfield, telling them what i want to order and where i want it shipping to. Usually i get an email back the next day with the total including shipping. Just click on "Contact" on the bottom right of the Homepage.
T48 do not give out S&H costs, like "other" webshops because they will only charge you what it actually costs them to ship it to you.
Unlike "other" web shops who will charge you a standard minimium $10 shipping rate just to ship 1 measly etch fret.

Hi. Thanks for the info about E-mailing them. I'm in Oakland Ca., 7 miles across the Bay from San Francisco. And Yes! I've also suffered at the hands of people who charge an arm & a leg for to send one little part. Thats why I got worried when I didn't see any S&H prices listed by T48, and what prompted me to pose the question here on the Forum. Thanks for your response.
Best Regards
Mike

Wow thats kind of stiff for S&Heven in Canadian Dollars, but thanks for your info. I know a lot of places lower a price on the front, then add it on the back to the S&H.

Shipping charges from Track48

June 22 2009, 7:52 PM

One thing that I'd like to add here (this happened to me when I placed the last order): I was charged for shipping using a standard rate (I don't recall what it was) and after everything was ready to be shipped I got an email from Meeta informing me about the partial refund because the original shipping charge turned out to be larger than the actual cost of shipping!

I have to say that I have never had this happen to me before. I was stunned. This was yet another proof of the excellent service from Track 48 and all I can do right now is to remain their loyal customer happy.gif.

So, the moral of this story is that you don't need to worry about the shipping charges. I trust they'll do good by you.

Let me add my vote of confidence for Track 48 in general and Meeta in particular. Meeta is very conscientious, will communicate with you and will give you the best possible service.

I've been placing an order or two a year from Japan and have always been very happy with the pricing, service and speed of delivery.

Purchasing from T48....

June 23 2009, 12:24 AM

I must agree with everyone. I have purchased a great many things from Meeta these last few years and have found the service to be excellent and the prices fair. As for postage, Meeta keeps it as low as it can get.

Hi SeanSki. Thanks for your recommendation of T48. I will definately give them some business because of their honesty. I am a Security Officer & 1a year and a half ago, I found and returned a Real Estate Agents Wallet containing over $6,000.00 U.S. Dollars. It had been someone's down payment on a home. I then refused a reward of a Vacation anywhere in Mexico, explaining the Wallet's return was just part of my job as a Security Officer. It's nice to know that T48 is a reputable Company.
Best Regards
Mike
