Just a little late, but I have finished my Armoured Division Famo, with a few small modifications.
I've added an engine, new tilt frames and found much better tyres but apart from that its as the kit comes very nice to build but a bit of a heavy S.O.B. to paint as its all white metal!

The model was made for The Armoured Division by Hartsmith Models (now asam.com) and they did tell me its still available but it quite pricey and it weighs a ton as its all white metal!

Great beast!

Great model, Allan. How about some close-up shots, especially of the open motor and all than stowage? By the way, did you weigh the finished beast? Being an all white metal/lead kit, I bet it matches a real Famo's weight in scale kilos or pounds.

Truly remarquable.

Outstanding weathering! I hate the difficulty of dealing with/painting heavy white metal figures. I can imagine the trouble of getting such a great paint job!

Did you find the tracks and side body panels details that great OOTB, or was more like hard work to make them look that crisp?

The tracks and back are as it comes, apart from the new tyres, tilt frames and the engine its untouched!
