I've looked at that site before

and found their prices on most things to be way too high.

Definition of a collector; someone who knows the price of everything, and the value of nothing....

Too bad.

It's unfortunate his prices are so high. He's got a couple of Bandai Pz II kits listed but they're about double what I'd be willing to pay or could find on E-Bay. Unfortunately, I have yet to secure one as I keep missing the auctions!

I'm afraid of asking...

July 10 2009, 7:55 AM

But does anyone know how good is the "M8" tractor on that $375 combo kit?

Also, how useable is the Aurora Js-III, and the Bandai Maultier if I have some spare truck chassis, like a Mercedes 3000 (which is not good at all)?

I already know the Aurora Type 97 is awful. The Japanese soldiers are perhaps useable but fairly soft and thus of very limited interest...

Finally, is the track size far off from AFV's 251 for that Bandai SdkFz 8? I remember them being fairly small...

Thanks in advance!

Gaston

$375 would buy an awful lot of plastic card, scalpel blades, engineers square and protractor, steel rule,  liquid glue, brush, cutting mat, pin chuck and some small drills, candle to stretch some sprue, an assortment of Evergreen plastic strip, some epoxy and acrylic putty, even some Archer Decal 3D weld and rivet decals.

I think you know where I am heading with this.....
