...for those on the "Georgie" thread. I highly recommend "Armageddon--The Battle for Germany" by Max Hastings. A thorough account from many participants--Brits, Yanks, Jerries and Reds--without any of Stephen Ambrose's pet peeves and prejudices. And for Tim Perry: I get the joke about Mark Clark--most of Kesselring's army was able to "cross the road" un-noticed by one of the most over-rated generals in history.
