I don't know how long it's been in the gallery, but I jsut noticed it for the first time this morning. I've wanted to do something along those lines for some time, but could never find any decent references for the JB-2's dolly.

James (or anyone) where did you find pictures of the dolly?

Also, what Monogram set has the tow vehicle in it? (I assume it's oop, right?)

Thanks All,

Art

Loon Diorama

October 8 2009, 6:52 PM

Hi Art,

I pretty much cobbled that cart from the Monogram F-80 and the F-84F.I went into it with absolutely no clue as to what I wanted to do.I used pretty much all the cart from the F-84 and used the curved pieces from the F-80.I do remember cussing alot while building it.For my refs on the Loon I just gurgle(google) searched it.

The tow tractor is from the old Pro-Modeler ground equipment set.I you wanna pick my brain some more just email me.
Cheers,
spanky

Hi Patrick,

Thanks for the effort. I found a picture of a JB-2 bein gloaded under the wing of a B-17 (I think). It's a six wheeled affair with two slabs to support the JB-2. Is that the pic you found?

I always seem to find this stuff ATFER I post a question.
