...at the end of Tim Perry's mind-numbingly long thread about sheds, sheds and more sheds.
To wit--why so much Churchill track used as up-armour on Shermans? Why was so much of said track available? Too many knocked-out Churchills lying about? Since Churchills and Shermans were usually in different outfits, it must have taken a fair amount of scrounging--or was Churchill track readily available in the UK before shipping out? Anybody have a clue? (or for that matter give a rat's ass?) wink.gif
