3.1: The criminal would no longer have fingerprints by which he could be identified if he underwent this procedure.
3.2: Because the epidermal ridges in his hands are gone, and therefore he has a harder time gripping things. More importantly, the epidermis is made from a different kind than the dermis and the dermis will be irritated by being constantly exposed.
3.3: The cut that is vertical along the abdomen, because the lines of cleavage in the abdomen run horizontally.
3.4: In the layers of the stratum basale, and the stratum spinosum, it is possible for cancerous growths to form. In the other layers of the skin the cells, instead of regenerating are systematically killing themselves through keratinization, and so cannot form cancerous growths.
3.5: The medulla.
3.6: The matrix.
3.7: It has just entered its growth stage.
3.8: No.
3.9: Teenagers would be freed from their acne, but the FDA would not allow it because it would make the skin extremely dry and susceptible to wear and bacteria.
