Temp

I can cruise around town @ 2000 rpms with a steady temp of 180 degrees and hit 190 at a long light. On the highway @ 3000 rpms I will run 200 - 205 when outside air is 70 or above. 205 is not really hot but I was wondering if maybe I am sucking the bottom hose partially closed on the highway ? I do have a spring wire in the hose but.

I don't think you are, might be a minor airflow issue, a little something, maybe a little that. My Cyclone did that & I never figured it out

At first I thought it was a jetting issue but running 76/84 and plugs look good.

Heating up when creeping along in traffic is generally an airflow issue. Heating up while there is plenty of airflow is generally an indication that the cooling system is inadequate, and you need a larger radiator.

My car had a stock 2-core radiator MANY years ago, and it would be just fine in traffic, but would overheat going down the interstate. Going to a larger radiator solved the problem.

Good Luck!

It tops out at 205 so I'm not worried about overheating but would be nice to be 180 all the time. It's a stock 3 core with electric puller and no shroud.

Might be moving around the radiator through holes in the core support. It fixed an old car I had
