I've got today and tomorrow off, and a house full of parts just waiting for me to get to work on the car, but it's going to be over 100 all week!  I just can't bring myself to put on jeans and a long sleeved shirt and head out to my garage . . . gotta find motivation somewhere

Oh man... Tell me about it. This weather is just getting ridiculous. (As it does every year...)
Out of curiosity what you up to on the new 69?

Well, for the first time I can remember I have no prior obligations for my tax return and annual bonus (paid out in July), so I've been spending like a drunken sailor.  Now I just need to find the time to get it all done.  I've got a Mustang II type front end kit to install, and the 460 is off to the machine shop for the build which is a bit over the top but should be great.  I'm really focusing on doing this one from the ground up, so I'm also going through the rear end, suspension and transmission now while everything is apart.  The majority of the rust repair on the body and floorpans is all done, so once the rolling chassis and drivetrain are where I want them to be it's off to paint (probably at least 6 months away) then back home to button up the interior, put the new top on 'er and enjoy it!  (or equally likely sell it and start over with something new if history pedicts anything!)

Sounds good. Oddly money hasn't been too bad for me this year either. But I've just been trying to keep it into my tools and equipment for the shop. So I don't get to spend it on all the fun stuff.

So you got the 460 all planned out yet?
I'm sure you've been through the specs a couple times, just too busy to go back and try to find them.

If you need any help, or tips on doing anything on the project, let me know.

Hopefully everything continues to move smoothly on this one, and you wont get all the frustration like the other one did.

Have a good one.
