Well, it came down to finishing the Mustang & being broke, or selling it & having money for other things. I had only one lowly offer so I tenatively accepted it. He has until the end of August to pay & I to change my mine if I win the lottery (I don't play the lottery). Having 2 cars to work on & build is one too many. FWIW I got less than half of what I wanted...

I hear ya Rick. We have the Galaxie, And I purchased a 87 Notchback Mustang to replace my 04 Marauder for a daily transit vehicle. It was a 4 cyl. car and I just "had" to put a EFI 302/T-5 in the damn thing. Sure, I paid $500 for the car rolling with a shitload of parts that came with it.Not to mention I got a super deal on all the electronic stuff etc.. But damn, This is too f'ing much work!
I told the wife, "If I ask about another project car in the near future, SLAP the shit outta me!"
Thinking about selling the dragster as a roller & put the methanol injected 466 in a lowered '65 F100. I'll need a 3-5 gallon surge tank & a 20 gallon tank in the rear... Figure about 1-2 miles per gallon.

would have a cow if I talked about bringing such a thing home! I showed her a $6995 one turn key in the back of National Dragster and... well, I didn't call the seller LOL.
Unless you have the combination of finances, facility, and ability that allow you to have multiple vehicle projects going and can finish them in a reasonable amount of time and then be able to maintain and even use those vehicles then the best thing you can do is sell EVERYTHING but the one vehicle that you want to see running, looking good, and on the road.
Keep everything that is related to that specific project. Peddle the rest of the cars and parts. Clean house. Turn junk into cash.
One cool running driving vehicle is worth 10 "someday" projects that will more than likely never happen. It's WAY more fun to cruise in a cool ride than to look at a pile of stuff lying around the yard.
