Dang... Ordered some parts from Summit via the internet yesterday between 4-5 PM, and as I was arriving home a little after 3:30, the UPS truck was in my driveway dropping off the parts!

It used to be, if I ordered from Summit before noon, the parts would be here the next day. If I ordered them later in the afternoon, it would take two. This time, the parts were IN MY DRIVEWAY in less than 24 hours after being ordered!

I haven't used Jegs for a while, but they always took one extra day, so I got in the habit of using Summit. Well, I would order from there occasionally in order to keep their catalogs coming...

FWIW, I live in West Virginia, which is one state away Ohio, where both Summit and Jegs are located. Quick shipping and no sales tax!

There is still good service to be had here and there.

I scrounged around for a heater control valve (hot water valve) for the 60 Plymouth Fury. Guess what? None to be had........

So I gave it to the guys from Fusick Oldsmobile in Connecticut at the Hershey Car Show. They rebuild GM valves and thought they could also do a Plymouth.

They were right! They got back to Connecticut on Sunday. The rebuilt unit was in my mailbox on Thursday. Works perfect, looks like new. Reasonably priced, too.
