I'm getting the seats redone by a pro (UK standards)
at http://www.buyconfidently.com/classicmustanginteriors/restoredexamples.html

Here's my work:

I would say "It's not bad" knowing that I'm NOT a pro, I'm less than an amateur but still know a fair bit about cars.

Now compare my work, as seen in picture above and his work:

Can you see the difference between the two pictures (ok, don't come and tell me, yeah one is black and white and the other one is red and white... lol)

My seat is flat like a pan cake....

Ive sewn 1 motorcycle seat. Its not close to perfect but its not bad for my first seat and an ass will sit there niceley.

I dont see a problem with your black and white set up, you say the only problem was flat a flat seat?

The parts that urks me about your new ones is this:

When he was making it looks like he was pulling on the top layer just a little more then the bottom but thats it.

The picture of the new seat was taken shortly after it was done, give it some time to rest.
I'm not doing a show winning car you know, a criss or two is not the end of the world.

It's 1000x better that what it was before.
I'm very happy with his work.

I think that Kermit's seats were GORGEOUS:) A little flat from lack of filler, but you can't help that from time to time.... The seat covers are sold aftermarket, the new foam isn't...

Kermit's work is excellent!

The black and white seats are nice, but when you're such a pig as I am.... they don't stay white that long.... so I went for all blacks (the new upholstery is being done by someone else)

Ummm, the seat covers look a little loose? I would have removed them, glued some more foam on the old seats and replaced the old covers... aside from that they look fine to ME...

Looks good to me! But then again I haven't done a

motorcycle seat.

Give those new seats about a day in the sun and any wrinkles or pulls will be gone.

Oh!  Rick from what I've heard  from reliable sources your butt wouldn't fit in that seat.
