How in hades did this happen?? I just got a durn spam email FROM me TO me?? Have I been hacked? Is somebody using my computer to send crap out?? Any advice and assistance would be much appreciated...

Very common email spoofing technical. It does not mean you have been hacked or anything of the sort. Spammers know that humans will be more apt to open spam even when they know it is spam just because their name is on it. that your mail server only looks to see if the destination address is valid and not the sender address - SOP for a mail server. Regular email has no mechanism to verify a sender address. So, you can put mamaspammer@fantasticfurniturefromfinland.com as a sender and it won't care.
