Actually the car is for sale by his Caddy buddy. I was just looking at Buicks and when I see a 54 Skylark I just had to look. Then I noticed the door and window on the building in the background and knew where the pics were taken, so I looked at the seller and its his Caddy buddy

the -2 points was becasue he heard that Greg knew you...
I personally don't see the resemblance between the two cars..
I mean sure teh red one is a 198 ponit car, but what the hell does the red car have to do with teh blue one? I mean really! Sheesh! Can you imaging the point scale it would get if I restored it? Um... yeah, about 10

The 2 point deduction from the perfect score of 200 was due to the fact that the idiot owner forgot to put the jack in the trunk. The jack was missing. He got a nicely restored jack somewhere but forgot to bring it to the show. Since we were 400 miles from home it was kinda tough to go back and get it.
What does the Red Car have to do with the Blue Car? He is stating that if you buy this car the Skylark "experts" will aid you with information on how to correctly restore it to standards.

No Gary, the car is 35K and the advice comes with the deal.........
If you think that might be too much for the car it would probably help to know that the taillight housings in decent used condition will bring 6 grand.
Anyway, the wheel wells with matching brake drums came in Red, White, or Black depending on the color of the car and the color of the interior.
Cars with Red interiors usually had Red wheel wells, except for Red cars which would have white wheel wells.
Cars with Black/Yellow interiors usually had Black Wheel wells, except Black cars which would have White wheel wells.
Cars with Blue or Green interiors would have Black wheels wells if the exterior color was light.
Cars with Blue or Green interiors would have White wheel wells if the exterior color was dark.
I'm sure there were exceptions, but that was the general rule.
In practical application many "all but new" Buicks would have the fender wells painted Black at no charge by the dealer when people got sick of trying to keep a white wheel well clean.
