I saw this on todays Milwaukee Craig's list.. If it has a 390 in it, and little rust it is steal. I can't get over there to take a look, but I thought you maybe interested.

Whenever somebody says, "first reasonable offer", it usually means they need cash right now. I say, wave 3K cash under his nose and you'll drive it home...

This makes no sense to me....

"LITTLE TO NO RUST"

"NEW FLOOR PANS EVENTUALLY"

THE GOOD:
-NEAR MINT
-FAIRLY NEW INTERIOR
-LITTLE TO NO RUST
-SOLID BODY
-GOOD ENGINE
THE BAD:
-NEEDS RADIATOR
-NEW FLOOR PANS EVENTUALLY
-BRAKES HAVE BEEN ACTING FUNNY
-PAINT COULD USE SOME WORK
-TIRES ARE LOW FROM SITTING FOR A FEW MONTHS

Yeah... I was thinking the same thing...

Selling for $10,000 but today I'll take $4,000...

I'll bet $2,500 will take it home...

Thanks for keeping an eye out for me guys, but this was the car I mentioned about a month ago. A true GT but now has a small block and needs EVERYTHING. Floors, quarters, etc, just a nasty car. It was an adventure when I went to see it. I actually told my wife where I was going (the getto) and I called her to tell her I left the guys house without getting shot, but still had to get out of the rest of the inner city without getting car jacked before I was safe. Bad, bad area.

Ed, maybe you werent in that bad of an area of the city.

No offense to the people that live there but more and more people here are referring to Milwaukee as "Little Detroit"

General quality of life in Milwaukee has been going for quite a few years.
I was born in Milwaukee in a good (working class) part of town and raised that everyone was created equal. Mom died when I was 9, dad had a bad stroke a couple years later, and couldnt go back to work (doctors wouldnt release him, plus even if they did he really didnt function very well) after that, I grew up on welfare and lived in a housing project.
My first house I owned was in an intagrated area of the city. We lived there for 12 years and had to leave, that was back in '88.
Alot more shootings, acts of brazen crimes. The minority kids are just animals. They bitch about not having anyplace to go, then when you provide them a place it gets shot up and you haver to close it down. Killing each other over "trilpe goosedown" coats. Never understood that one. You shoot a person, putting a bullet hole in the coat, then take the coat?

Being nearly mint makes my $10,000 dollar restoration a lot easier to actually accomplish... It hardly needs anything LMAO

After looking for a decent fairlane for many years, I'm convinced it would take $10k just to find a decent starting point...they're just one of those cars that you'll never find with decent quarters unless it's been sealed in a bubble in Arizona.
