Hurdy Gurdy Man

I just heard this song for the first time while watching the movie Zodiac...I like it. I hit iTunes, the rest of Donovan's stuff reminds me of hippies running through a field of poppies, it's crap. The 60s must have been interesting fo sho.

Well, since I wasn't around the first time, I listen to "classic rock" stations for my exposure. Basically, they only hit the A sides of the popular stuff, so I hadn't heard Donovan...I was remiss.

I used to get into all Dad's records and 8 tracks as a kid. Iron Butterfly, Steppenwolf, Three Dog Night, CCR, Mama's and the Papa's, etc. I have spiraled out some....as Neil Young put it...From Hank to Hendrix.
