Cyclone's new digs...

The cyclone is safe and sound in the new resto shop as of today. Nice and dry and INSIDE. Sitting out in the weather has done a world of hurt to the car, despite it being wrapped in a tarp. So, I'm gonna need a Torino parts car, but it's gotta have a good firewall/cowl, decent trunk, and good trunk channel. If any of you come across one, lemme know. I'd even entertain the idea of letting you buy it, pirate the parts I need, and then let you sell the rest to get you some coin for your trouble. Lemme know....Thanks!

Dougger, I thought that guy from Wisconsin fixed you up with the part for the trunk, didnt he?

68-69 Torino/cyclone/montego, preferably a fastback, but will consider all. Chuck, the trunk lid, yes. Perhaps I didn't make it clear. The trunk channel is shot to heck; looks like swiss cheese.

Yep, watching that one. I found one within 50 miles of me, $600, but looks like the guys already sold it..

If only you had posted this a couple years ago. I had a solid Fastback that I got in a trade & sold on Ebay. No rust, no rot, but every body panel had a kink in it. Would have made a perfect donor..

Fords/Carlisle is in 3 weeks. What's a rolling shell worth?

Thanks Rick. Greg, I'd put a shell with the metal I want at around $600. The cowl needs to be as rust free as possible, ditto the trunk channel. The rest, I could care less about. I'd appreciate it if you'd take a look for me. I'm still looking locally as well.
