.......really have to stand out in the wind and rain to prove to the folks in TV Land that there REALLY is wind and rain in a hurricane???

After Geraldo was finished with his death defying report they flashed to the studio where the nicely dressed, not a hair out of place weatherbabe was standing in front of the big map talking about the hurricane. No wind or rain, I didn't believe a word she said.

They are all doing it - Jerry Lewis had NBC locked up but GMA had somebody out in the weather and CBS had somebody getting wet. I'm sure Al Roker is out there somewhere. I don' believe it, that stuff on the radar and sat-e-lite is all made up. Hurricane video is shot on the same sound stage as the moon landing, it's a gubbermint plot to run oil back up. Damn it's raining somewhere, that might affect supply, better jack up the price.

They were pulling a guy....and then a propane take...out of a canal and GR was all in a tissy because his cameraman didn't see where the 'guy' was to zoom in on.

I didn't see it, but I saw a report that stated he made a big deal about the guy in the water and it was just a guy on a tether out to retrieve a propane tank. No emergency, just garbage collection.

I watched via CNN all day and the other media - the weather people were just knocking each other over the heads to see who could get the wettest and closest to needing rescue. Buncha Dumb...oh, lets not insult the donkeys.
