I always though that you could push start an automatic as long as you were going at least 30 mph. Is that not true anymore??

you cant total a race car
you just get tired of fixing it.

Last one was a Powerglide with a rear pump that I know of. If you tow one very far it will weld the direct clutch pack together from lack of lubrication

It's all in the pumps anymore, tranny spinning will not engage the torque converter's even if you push it 80 mph....
