On my automotive wish list is owning a car from the year of my birth, 1959. I looked a little when I bought the Torino, but I came to the conclusion that 1959 Fords are butt ugly. If I ever own a '59 Ford, it will be a T-Bird, but don't hold your breath. I have browsed other makes and there isn't much from '59 that appeals to me that I could reasonably expect to own. '59 Corvettes are awesome, but thoroughly out of my price league. While doing my usual browsing / day dreaming through on-line ads I saw the following:

I want that car!
I am today announcing the Buy Tim a '59 300 Fund. Your donations will be greatly appreciated. I figure all I need are 70 people willing to donate $1000 each. I will even make the first contribution. There, the fund now has $1000 in it. Who will be next?
