Some really suprising cars, like the turbocharged Lincoln shown below. Funny thing about the weekend was the '56 Ford. It's a big block/powerglide Super Gas (9.90) car with all the electronics. The car was at a Ford race I entered here with the '66 once & boy was he pissed when my footbrake car treed his delay box equipped car. Every dog has his day!

Boy, ya just had to show that fiddie-sebun longroof dincha? I'm gonna have dreams about that car bein' in my garage for months.... Now that towncar sure ain't something you see on a dragstrip everyday, fer sure!
That thing was a nightmare for the first sixty feet! Sad thing is I see a LOT of '64 1/2 to '73 Mustangs doing that. Seems a simple short stay at the alignment shop is out of some people's budget. That or a lack of knowledge. Good thing about Sunday is I'm finally getting the fox chassis taste out of my mough LOL

Seem to see that a lot on the shock tower cars, how would you deal with that since it's basically like that at full extension? That '68 looks very nice for a street/strip car, but wouldn't expect to see the sunroof..ugh.

A friend of mine who races a 71 Torino Cobra, and it never see`s the street, took his to a front end guy that he knows and he jacked the front of the car up to full extension then aligned it. He says it drives great on the track, but you would`nt want to street drive it. If you have ever watched a 70 or 71 Torino run with stock shock tower front end, when you leave the front extends, and dont come back down until you let off the gas.
When I ran a train load of low 11's in the Cyclone it never did that but there are ways around it. Spoiler would carry the right front about 15 feet, the left about 10
