Cool piece, Dude! I can remember shoving one of them around the yard. We had a stupid 19" electric rotary mower when I was a kid. A lawn mower with a f**king extension cord! What's wrong with THAT picture? I hated that stupid thing so I'd just get out one of the old push mowers and go to it! It wasn't a very big yard.....happy.gif

We had a push mower like that when I was a kid. It worked good on normal lawns but cutting St. Augustine grass was a bitch.

Saw a big sign in a front yard while driving thru Fontucky once: Lawn More $25. Didn't realize 'till later the yahoo was trying to sell a mower.

A Lawn More is a distant cousin to a Wheel Borrow.

I guess what I was trying to get you guys to notice was that the guy was willing to take a 12 pack of cheap, or a sixer of "good" beer in trade.

Regarding the more itself, I always found the sound of a reel more to be rather calming.

I got it, Chuck.

Quote Greg:

"A Lawn More is a distant cousin to a Wheel Borrow."

Up north here they were a Wheel Barrel.

I noticed the beer thing.

The moral of the story is that beer, good or bad, is better than a lawn more. Even though it's more the beer is better.

I ate up many a good extension cord with the old Black & Decker mower I had. As for the hippie mower, my neighbor has one...
