A guy at the Legion asked me to see if I could find any info on the Smith Mini Car. He stated it was a plywood kit car that was advertised in Popular Mechanics, he thought, but were outlawed because they would breakup in a collision. Anyone ever heard of em?

Sam, I dont mean to hijack your thread but your wooden car reminded me of a time a few years ago when we were snowmobiling in the U.P. of Michigan. We just got to our motel and unloaded our sleds and this guy pulls up in a 4x4 made completely out of USB.
Thats about the strangest thing Ive ever seen. Well, except there was this one time at Woodward, I knocked on Cooks door and he told me to come in and....... Never mind

Gary, Not sure of the era, but I'll see him at Bingo tonight and get some more info. I was checking Google and there was some really old stuff on there made from wood.
