The color is off a bit but it should buff out.

No doubt. Split it right at the factory joint. Moulding will hide everything. Nice to have some good tin for a change.

The one time a high production part could help. I guess the SW and 4DRHDT are identical at that place. Not to minimize the work involved since there's still a buncha rusty stuff around there to replace and tie in.

Yeah, the upper edge of the pinch weld on that fin has to be sandblasted. I know there will be some pinholes there!

On the one picture where the qtr panel is gone you can see that the inner panel that goes from the bottom of the qtr to the trunk floor has some holes in it. I was lucky enough to be able to leave that piece attached to the good panel and the whiole thing plugged right in. Perfect fit and still has the factory welds along the bottom edge.

Beats the hell out of the usual cut grind weld patch routine!

Some large head 3/16 rivets and you'll be done in a jiffy.

Hey Greg, did you wear your die grinder disc down to the bone, of do you have some cool grinding tool attached to your blue die tool?

It's a replaceable 3" cut off disc. I use them to the bitter end.
