Seen that one before. Gorgeous! Thought they weren't ever going to sell...

Well, I'm no 65 LTD expert and take a certain pride in that fact, however that LTD emblem in the middle of the rear edge of the trunk lid is just plain WRONG! Also as far as I recall there should be some chrome/stainless "spears" from side to side across the rear of the trunk lid on either side of the center Ford crest.

Now take a good look at the paint. The paint on the roof panel is neither the same color nor ther same gloss as the lower body. This is obvious in the close up shot of the roof panel and the profile shot from the right side.

And then there's the old RARE BIG BLOCK 390! Um, yeah, okay..............rare indeed.....

The difference in paint on the roof was explained in the link. I dont know why there is a late 60s/early 70s LTD emblem on the trunk.

AS for the chrome on the trunk,I have no answer for ya there either, but I would expect it would have that trim, plus the chrome on the sides like mine has.

I didn't read the blurb, I just like to be a big meany and point at stuff!
