Don't have to be friends to get drunk and ride around on the boat!

I've been doing my share to stimulate the economy by getting Joe and Tom to spend a ton of bucks on their 59 Buicks! happy.gif happy.gif happy.gif

I've logged many sea hours on a buddy's 27ft float boat in Chincoteague, VA. They are a floating drinking establishment, great fun.

Ross, Ive always had one but it was smaller. I used to have a competition type speed boat that would do 91 mph on a gps. I was the fastest guy on the lake, for a while happy.gif. I always wanted to do 100 mph on water, but I came up a little short, the story of my life, Im sure my wife would agree.
I have a neighbor who has a 250 hp on the back of his pontoon, so just for grins I asked how much to throw twin 150 Mercs on the back of my boat, just to piss my neighbor off happy.gif. It was doable from a cost standpoint, and it would have been the talk of the lake, but its a pontoon boat, whats the point.

Chris, in my younger days, we used to tie up 4 or 5 or more of them, side by side on the Fourth of July to watch the fireworks and just open the doors and walk from one boat to another eating and drinking.

We also have a golf outing every year where they mount a wide plank, as in "walk the plank", off the front of a couple of pontoon boats and you golf off of them. There are 9 homes on the lake that have "Greens" on their shore and you try to get closest to the hole, while the boat is bobing up and down in the water.
