Just talked to Greg's wife. Greg had triple-bypass surgery. He is doing ok. He did not have a heart attack. He complained about heartburn and had a check up where they found the blockage.
Thanks for the info Frank. Greg has many friends here that were unaware of this issue. It's nice to know that we can get the messages passed along to all here in the garage...
Greg...Glad ya made it through without further damage. Stay away from that junk food. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Hearing this was so unexpected. So many times I have marveled at the amount of work Greg has turned out, with speed and gerat detail. Hearing of his hopitalization after all these years of internet converstations is both unexpected and as deep a concern as I would feel for the neighbors next door.
I am sure he is surrounded by family, friends at this time ... add to that assemblage the well wishes of all his internet friends. Though the distance is greater, the wish for rapid recovery are just as real.

Chilly, I tried too but couldnt get past the nurses station either. Maybe try telling them your his "life partner" next time
Im sure he probably cant talk too well today anyway. They just took the tube out of his throat yesterday according to Ann.
Get well soon! Glad they found it before it caused a bigger problem. The bypass work is almost routine now, but still a big deal. Keep us up on the status.
Every day I wake up, I set a new record for living longer than my dad - scary stuff for the 50+ set.
Well, this was a stunner!!! I don't log in for a couple of days, and Greg goes and sneaks off to the hospital to have Cook restored. I am glad you caught it in time, Greg!! I hope your surgeons were able to put you in their own magic trailer!!! Get well soon!!! Post as soon as you can!!!
Meh, Chuck was out of control BEFORE his surgery. Greg if you're reading this, all the best to you buddy. Know my prayers and a whole bunch of other folks are with you and the family during this tough time. I know you can't wait to wear yer shirt unbuttoned so you can show off yer scar to all the girls...
Greg, These bypass deals are very routine for the surgeons yet they are LIFE changing events for us the patients! May God bless you during your recovery! Best Wishes from California!!!
