Fins so big they extend into the door, cross-ram intake, push button automatic...what more could you want in a car?

Not quite as tough looking as a 1960 but a cool ride nonetheless. Nice, simple, subdued appearance.

If it's decent turnkey car, a fair buy at 16. 10 or 12 would be WAY better!

The 361 with cross ram won't be a magnificent performer but this car is more about the ooooohhsss and aaaahhss.

Cool Cruiser.

Many many years ago when I was 12 - 13 or so my father and I went to an estate sale at a farm that had a pasture full of cars and a barn full of stuff. At the time we were looking for flathead V8 goodies and we passed by several Chrysler products. For some reason I was strangely attracted to a 61 Imperial convert that was there that was a bit rusty but intact. The day I was there it didn't sell and we left without buying anything. A couple years later I was scrounging the local wrecking yard and found the exact same car in the back. It had been stripped of the drivetrain, bumpers, trim, headlights, the roof, and most of the interior bits. I've always kinda kicked myself for not trying harder to get it.
