Snow White 59 Buick Report

Cook's Restorations is back in gear.... sorta.....

I worked on getting the ultra rare bucket seats back in their correct position.

The upholstery guy came over and started working on the top fabric.

The godawful trunk material from SMS finally arrived and this is the not so great result.

Wow, came a long way since my last visit. You have been sneaking more hours out there!

Those buckets look sweet. I wonder how it was decided to just slap sheet metal pans on the back rather than upholstery?

Those heavy guage sheet metal shells are actually the seat frames. The cushions just rest inside them. They are a pretty stylish seat. There is a 2" (or so) stainless steel band the surrounds the edge of the steel shells where it meets the upholstery.
