New fence is up, jersey walls installed, they resurfaced the track on Friday. Couldn't tell if the did the whole 1/4 or just the 1/8th, spectator side bleachers look like they have new lumber. Tower roof and sides have been redone. They now have IHRA sanction. Got an ambulance from up in NJ. They were fixing the roof on the little shack at the entrance and the Frederick Co. building inspector stopped by and asked if they had a permit. More BS to slow things down, so the roof and the new lumber for the stands on the pit side sits there waiting. They also got two big generators for power in case the Co. wants to give them crap over getting electric. I heard the concession stand was going to be operated out of a trailer. Looks like things are still on track for the April 3rd opening. I'll see if I can get some pics.
