Happy Easter

Perhaps not a very manly greeting but nonetheless it's a beautiful sunny, although cool, morning here. Who could ask for more? Well, I guess the track could be open but then I would have to explain to my wife why I wouldn't be able to attend the hoity-toity brunch at the Gettysburg Hotel later today. Just as well....

So I hope everyone has a nice day doing whatever with family and/or friends.

Since my heart surgery deal I am supposed to try to eat "healthy" stuff but they also said that I had a "10% window" so I don't go insane. The way I see it there are 7 days in a week, therefore 21 meals. 10% of that is 2.1 meals per week. I "saved up" all week eating fun stuff like BROCCOLI so today I'm gonna make up for it and cram 2.1 meals into the Easter Sunday Brunch!

2 billion calories here I come!

Come to think of it, this might be better than going to the track.

Happy Easter to all. My daughter and I made our first ever batch of deviled egg's. We hit a homerun! Sad part is that we have to wait til dinner to eat them. wink.gif

Happey Easter all!!!

You know, I often try to imagine how some people explain away things. Let's take the resurection. If you do not believe in the event as is told by the bible, how is it accounted for?? The first option is that it was a complete hoax. From there things can get wild. Examples - Jesus died, his disciples stole the body after bribing the guard, and then put a look alike in place and said he has risen. Or Jesus did arise because he was an alien and they have capabilities far beyond ours.....and so forth and so on. It is really interesting to read the explanations for religious events by those outside that religion.

Ya know Rick, I've never been one to be one of those "religious pests", but yer day probably would have been a lot better if you'd bit the bullet and gone WITH Lorrie. Be that as it may, hope you've had a happy Easter anyhoo. That goes for all y'all.

I got one more thing to say tonight...

Read the Book by Lee Stroble titled The Case For Christ.

Very good read... Lot's of good inquisitorial material.

He is Risen, indeed, Tim. I hope all had a blessed Easter.

I also had too much to eat and probably increased the sodium count in my body by 2000% with all the Honey Baked ham I ate! Lots of good stuff and good family company.

Greg, you accepting visitors next week? I plan on another PA visit and as you know you are on the way to where I need to go. In PA, that is, not the "other place". wink.gif

I should be around here on Saturday.

On Sunday if the weather is good (anything but rain) I will be going to Quarter Aces Dragway near Carlisle.
