Ah, the joys of being ripped off. Looks like the fine "gentleman" who was (ahem) "working" on my intake for the better part of a year hasn't been, isn't, and likely never will be. After dealays, false promises, and more delays, he's now not answered my emails for the better part of a month. He recently went through a divorce and was laid off from his job with Volvo (so he says) and I cut him some slack. Enough, however, is enough. I sent him an ultimatum and fully intend to follow through with a letter from my attorney, but doubt it'll do much good. He lives in Virginia, so maybe I can sic Chilly on him...

Sorry for your intake woes. On a brighter note, a friend of mine is making one for a cammer. It takes dual inline Autolites. I'll get pics someday. it's a sweet looking engine!

They lay off they hire they lay off they hire. There have been several waves of layoffs there in the last year. I live about 45 miles from there.

I hope you haven't lost too much on this deal.
