Gathering the parts to drop the Tudor and anm trying to find a pair of original 32 ford spring perches.
Not the easiest things to find, thought someone here might be able to help locate a pair.

Russ, A friend at my American Legion Post has a couple of Model A's, belongs to an antique Ford Model A club, and also helps out at the Model A store in Mt. Airy. I'll check with him and see if he can help.

Could any street rod stuff from a place like Speedway Motors be used?

Have you checked with the guys on the H.A.M.B. ?

They're good, talented people, but have rules. First post an intro, then go and ask your question on the board.
Chances are someone there has what you need or knows where to get it.

One last thing, DONT use the word Rat Rod. You wont make any friends by doing that!

Here's a pic of a 32 perch in place. THe aftermarket or speed stuff will not work for my application. i will be running a stretched and dropped "Model A" axle with the original mechanical brakes. The use of 32 perched in this application allows for clearance of the brake actuators and steering linkage. I have my feelers out on the HAMB looking for them also. You can't beat the HAMB for knowledge when working on these old ones.

Thanks, Russ

Wow! It's been awhile since I did any work on an A-bone. I had a 30 Tudor back around 1974 and helped some friends with theirs around that time.

Quite an Erector Set! happy.gif
