Did some chassis clean up on the 1956 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz. The paint is still damp, thus a bit glossy. It settled down to a nice semi.

Back in the day - racers use to say "Keep the shiny side Up"

Your frame makes it difficult to figure out whether they meant that as a complement or a curse.

I would like, for just once in my life - to do (or have done) a frame-off restore on a really nice 1957 Ford Fairlane. Yes, cost wise, resale or value to someone else ... it would be a waste of money and time, but thats not what it always about.

You use a cherry picker to get that big puppy in there? I think this car is going to be one of my favorite cars you have done in awhile

A cherry picker?

Are you kidding Rick? That's Greg Cook! He used his WILL to lift the frame and set the barrels happy.gif happy.gif

Rolled it in on the wheels. Pulled the front drums and the rear leaf spring suspension. Then I flipped it with the cherry picker. Heavy frame.

Rick, if you like this one it will be double your pleasure since I contracted to do another one yesterday. Silver with red interior. The guy bought in 1964 for $225.00 at a repo sale.
