Drove the F-100 for a good run for the first time since 1995

Even got a full tank of fuel to try to wash out 14 yrs of varnish LOL

j/k I rinsed it out a little, but I am sure the new fuel will soften something up happy.gif

Square tires, needs an alignment, but after I knew it was running I spun it up to 5500 a few times, it always loved it, why wait?

Unfortunately, I had to reassemble for the move, but the plan is to get back to the body once I get to Omaha.

Here she is, bellied to the bar happy.gif

Didn't miss a beat, no rattles, no squeaks, but seems a little darty, going to align it here ASAP.

Quite literally, this was the first time it pulled up to a gas pump since February 1995.

Frove ??? happy.gif happy.gif happy.gif

That will look nice with paint. I know it's been discussed but I will use the excuse of Oldmanitis and ask what color. I think a mid-to-dark metallic blue like from a '73 F series pickup would look good on there.

Drove not Frove wink.gif It was warm and no a/c, I was a little punchy.

The truck will be factory Candy Apple, same as the non-primer spots. The darker of the two Ford reds for those years.

I like other colors, dark especially, but since we owned this one since new and it was always red, its hard for me to change.

Plus I shot the interior before I parked it, jams need a clean up but the rest still looks good.

I will say this though, I am NOT going to be happy paying for red paint happy.gif

Glad she's up and going! I had to pay $700 for blue paint for my Falconaround.... I'm GLAD it's not a bright red... Pricy pricy!

Red is good especially if original.

If you look quick at the picture it looks like there are four red "tire guards" (or something) in front of and behind the wheels.
