Purple......No thanks, not for me. And as Greg said, the door panels, well.........

We were just talking about this at work. Someone builds a car and the theme starts out as "old school", i.e. the fender well headers (waaaay cool by the way) and then the do the interior
with "restomod" door panels, or just as bad, a frickin billet steering wheel.

But it is their car, so they can do what they want.

Worse thing about White Fender well headers was having to repaint them every month, maybe that set is ceramic coated! The best thing about them was they gave a car the bonifide "Gasser" look without having to put sticker all over it and paint a name on the rear fender.

Purple or not - its a pretty nice car, much better than flamed, rust bucket or graphic-ed, posers you see today. I was never a fan of the undrivable, race only evolution that seemed to be the fate of most every class of racing. They all start out with a good idea, street/strip; then sooner or later the rule changes make it impossible to compete.
