I'm with Chuck. Impractical? Check. Piss off the purists? Check. The dimensions are a bit ungainly I'll admit, but that's a part of the appeal. Just one small step removed from pro-mod. Actually, this car would have fit right in with pro-mod twenty years ago.

looks like the rear quarter has been "Bobbed" and the front fenders stretched?

Visually .... Makes the car into a totally different animal, with just enough of the factory styling to keep it from looking hacked up. With the chopped top, it should be much better Aero-wise.
