Nice.

I didn't know they had liftgates like that, I only remembered the glass lifting up and the gate dropping down. Must be the difference between a station wagon and a sedan delivery?

That looks like a home-grown modification - homage to the Modern Mini-Van? happy.gif

With the crease between the upper window and tail gate,  I kind'a doubt the factory would have wasted that extra work - even back them. I would have thought a trade van would have originally had a side opening door?  But thats just speculation, my memory of van, station wagons is way too shakey to make a "fer shure" opinion.

Real deal, specific model. Call it a predecessor to the econoline, only car based. Sliding doors hadn't been invented yet. This one can be yours for just a tad under $50K (!!).

I agree on the how the back opens. The guy I bought my '58 parts car wagon from had a '57 sedan delivery with the same set up out back. If I remember right, he wanted around $8k for it with a 351W motor. I passed on it cuz I thought that was too much and I already had my '58 wagon (plus the parts car I was buying from him).

The liftgate is correct.

That car was for sale at Hershey a few years ago. I don't remember the asking, somewhere around 30. It found a new home the first day.
