I went to an auction back in the spring. Must have been at least 150 tractors. Everything from Cockschutt to McCormick-Deering. If I had the money, I would have bought them all. An IH 1206 went for $30K. It looked nice, but not that good. The guy must have really wanted it. The only thing I can think of is that they only made them for two years.
I talked to the guy with the Cockshutt 50 and 20. He had the dealer sign and pedal cars too. His rig looked like something you would pull into the pits at a NASCAR race. Serious money and he looked like an old dirt farmer, but he knew his tractor history.
