One year only. The 7 Litre was Ford's attempt at being "European". The "litre" thing, disc brakes and handling package, supposedly more of a "road car" than a muscle car.

There were a small number of '67s made but they were an XL subseries.

some guy over on the "other" site is peddling a 7 liter 428 4 speed 4V Convertible for $8500. Supposedly one of 83 known to exist...

Nope, This actually be the one I was talking about. THE VC's have the gay old 427 stickers on them but the owner still has the originals and it's supposedly a #'s matching 428 7 liter Vert.

I know a guy who at one time had a 66 427 7 liter convertible, dunno if he still has it or not as the last time I saw him he was selling off a bunch of his Galaxie stuff.
