I bought a Cortland Endurance I a few weeks ago. The drag is quite smooth and uses the full range of the drag. They are large for the capacity, but this may simply be common to large arbor reels. It made hooking the little guys fun - they could actually move the reel.
The finish is not great and the foot already has a small chip - and I am careful.
I suspect this reel will perform quite admirably over the next years, but will quickly look well-used. |
