Yesterday I did a moderately high ponytail, then divided it and did two braids...then wrapped and pinned into a large braided bun. For some reason, I can't get one braid to stay, but I can two. I added two small hairsticks for a little extra support (mostly for style), and it stayed in ALL DAY! I'm going to do this again when we go to the air show on Saturday. I'll be leaning my head back a lot to look up, and usually when I do that, my buns move away from my head. This was the best bun I've ever done.
I got compliments, too. One lady I was working with at the food distribution asked if it was my real hair, two or three asked if I had done it myself, and a few said it looked nice. :) Made my day.
I can't believe how well the scalp wash method worked. My hair looks and feels just as good (or better) than it would've if I'd washed.
