Viper was in hot pursuit of Rick…..leading the way to sacred chamber….why is it sacred? Well it holds the MitB Coffin…high above on a pedestal……still…they aren’t there yet…as they run and run and run and run and run and run…for what seems like forever…..it this labyrinth of a secret passage…
You know the kind…like in cartoons….where one pops up upside down running on stairs…..and the other one pops up sideways…..they walk in the same door…but reappear at opposite sides…that kind of thing….yeah…amazing
anyway….finally…Viper stops…only for an upside down Astin to bump into her…and fall rightside up….
Astin: OWW!! Must I start wearing crash helmets to matches now?
Viper says nothing….but the smile that comes over her tells all….the gleam in her eye….yes….looking through a false mirror…..she sees it…The pillar holding the MitB coffin!!
She’s about to burst through the mirror when she stops to think…..there is no doubt another trap at play here…..but what?
“Hmmm…Oh rickles….do me a favor would you?”
“I thought we could only talk about how much you want me in private?....and I already told you….Im not doing that….smells like decomp..”
“Oo!!”
With that….Viper grabs Rick by the collar….and tosses him through the mirror…instead of shattering into a million pieces however….Rick flies right through….unharmed....well aside from the face plant…
“No trap, shame.”
Viper walks through now herself….and begins to wonder where the ladder could be hidden….the room is a perfect circle…..with smooth walls….there are no other caskets….no weapons….nothing….aside from the pillar in the center holding the MitB casket…..and the mirror….sure enough….when Viper saw where the Ladder was hidden….she had to do a double take…..
It was right there….being reflected by the mirror….or so it seemed….Viper thought at first it was a simple cloak incantation or something or other…..when she saw her own reflection in the mirror….smiling back at her….intrigued….she inched closer….only for her mirror image to pounce her!!!
Astin was returning to his feet at this point…and dying of laughter…
“HAHAHAHAHAHA…..No trap…….WHAM….right in the face…..hahaha….classic”
Astin heads to the mirror to recover the ladder as Viper was tussling around with her double…..when he spots his own double…
“Heya handsome…..oh wait…crap”
Sure enough….Astins double fires off a sick kick right to the jaw of the real McCoy…..right through the mirror
