The dark matter energy shocked UE's system as the necromancer slipped back to the dirt as if being hit by a ninety mile an hour fastball. Marco gave out a deep huff as the force of his familiar knocked him aside as well. Could it be that the netherworld was making his spells stronger?
For Enigma, that thing had become a nuisance. The give and take of this battle was due to it, and Marco would have been dust by now if it wasn't for that shadow familiars meddling. It was time to even the odds. Selecting a jagged piece of stone UE ran his third finger nail across his arm. His own blood ran along his third finger and pooled into a tiny circle upon the rock. When enough had been collected, Enigma began to form the summoning symbol noticing a purple static had gathered around the droplet. Recalling a spell of the flesh golem he had battled Amaimon with, the necromancer began mouthing a grim incantation. It seemed that this place was good for death and shadow magic, healing seemed faster, creatures rose from the dead rapidly, and spells stung a bit more.
He could see another dark blast heading his way, no time to deflect it He would just have to endure the attack and finish his spell. Ramirez had stopped tasting his own blood, and now could focus on taking down UE once and for all.
The blast struck UE with a direct hit to his chest taking it's path through his living circulatory system. The creature grimaced as he was compelled to slip back to the earth. His work with the blood had started an unnatural growth. A bit of Marco's dark energy had been absorbed within the blood and the awakening of the golem suddenly expanded to form dark energy bones. It was more than UE had expected, a hybrid creature that would carry dark matter energy along with his own plasma. What form would it take? What damage could it inflict? A faceless automaton of blood, matter, and dark magic the summoned thing stood four feet tall and hunched over spreading it's clawed hands wide. It took another dark blast, but as it did dark matter bone claws grew from it's two split fingers.
It attacked the shadow sending a purple slashing static through the familiar. Reaching into the center stabbing, the thing seemed to weaken the other shadow familiar. Was it immune to the shadow magic, not quite, but it was drawing it's energy away from it's intended target.
Enigma returned to his feet, and dusted himself off. The familiars were locked in battle, giving and taking from each other.
" Heh, stalemate..."
Undead Enigma muttered, keeping his eyes peeled for the Vampire Prince.
Marco then appeared behind traveling within a shaded transport spell. He struck Enigma in the small of his back driving his elbow deep into his spine, sending the unaware necromancer off his feet and sprawling to the ground. UE heard a dim crack as he turned to eat the tip of Marco's vengeful boot. Stonecold wrapped his arm around Enigma's throat and began to execute a blood choke lifting Enigma up from the dirt using his enhanced strength. UE gagged, taking to the move by forcing his fingers around Marco's arm. Stepping back and turning his hips UE ripped the attacker off of his throat with a karate overhand throw. But the damage was done, as Ramirez quickly returned with a staggering high impact STO.
Enigma's head bounced sliding slightly against the cold ground, before the creature's eyes rolled up inside of his head. The assault had rendered him unconscious. Ramirez waited for a second around the prone body of Undead Enigma and then pinned him placing his forearm over UE's neck.
An easy three count, what was the score now? More importantly, how much time was left?
The ground felt like it was shaking. Marco could see grains of sand vibrating. Enigma's body lifted as if something was carrying him. A wild kinetic force, protecting the necromancer, or perhaps another trick. Stone cold backed away from the rising body, sensing that his hair was rising as well. Then he remembered how much he hated psycho kinetic ability.
Within Enigma's orb, a force was growing. Some kind of wild defense mechanism triggered by the loss of his cognitive function. It was lifting Stonecold keeping him from running away. It was lifting other things as well, rocks sand, rotted sticks, not to mention the familiars.
Then the necromancer opened his eyes, the the orb switched to his control, taxing his mind, and Enigma rather than suffer the strain let it all go. As everything fell Enigma wasn't quite sure what had happened, what he did know was that Marco was falling in front of him. A few feet from impact UE placed his elbow targeting the body of his opponent. Ramirez struck the ground and then a few seconds later, UE struck him with an elbow drop directly in the chest. Other things fell on top of them, mostly a cloud of dust, some stray rocks and sticks. The familiars landed and dispersed having been destroyed attacking one another.
Undead Enigma and Stonecold shielded themselves but then were left where they had started. Enigma seized Marco and bashed him in the side of the skull, while Ramirez drove a hard boot into UE's punch exposed side. Ramirez gripped a rock and swung at UE's face, but the necromancer lifted his arm and deflected the strike. Taking Stonecold into a front headlock UE soon cradled him to his side and whipped him into a dominator which nearly threw Enigma off his feet. There was a sharp pain in his side, and his arms ached from the jerk power move. Marco was getting up already, sending Enigma to a defensive posture, trying to figure just what could keep Ramirez down for another fall...
