I was gonna be dirty with my title, but then the chain reaction would never stop.

McKain couldn't believe the heart MDS had at this point. He'd admired the way Strangla had stood up to the Requiem thus far, but to step into this death trap and ACTUALLY follow his word and try to destroy TDR was another thing altogether. In the face of a defeat so many before him had suffered, this mortal man was going the distance and making TDR pay for his transgressions as of late, if not for a lifetime. Still, that bastard the Requiem was fighting back just as hard, proving his veteran status again, proving he could go toe to toe with MDS as the man had wanted. All McKain could do, to keep things fair and unbiased was watch. He didn't speak, he didn't enforce anything. There were no rules, there were no count outs or time limits. If both men rendered one another unconscious it could be stopped, but other than that, the way to win was bury your opponent under all that glass.

Glass that was breaking beneath his own feet as well at this point. He'd regretted now, having not stood outside to do his part, yet at the same time, it was needed. From the outside he couldn't get in or see for that matter. Requiem could have easily cheated this game and ended it early in that ring- though MDS had valiently prepared in making the cage, placing all sorts of charms and spells undoubtedly of any kind he could to limit the chance of TDR pulling anything. The Requiem was a dirty fighter. He'd cheated a loss with McKain, he'd sealed him in a casket. He'd plunged him into icey waters. Gojinn had been the one to save him, though for now, only McKain knew of the truth. Watching closely, McKain backed up across the entire length of the ring now, propping himself up on a turnbuckle adjacent to the one he saw MDS and TDR slowly mounting.

This wasn't going to be pretty.

As if any of it had been?

Viper and the commentators watched with silence as the men climbed and locked the maneuever in now.

The world seemed to lose all sound and life around the cage. Words escaped the situation at hand now.

Though Viper was also planning to enforce the match, McKain was sure that should the time come, she'd have backup.. Which he thought about for a while. Who could it be? Was it her alone? Maybe...

But his thoughts ceased. McKain's eyes widened, he couldn't watch this could he? Could he watch the possible end of two brave fighters?!

The Requiem did it. Suplex off the top.

SLAMMMMMM

A fucking atom bomb exploded at the center of the structure. The deafening sound of the impact STILL kept a quiet area. No one knew how to react. When the dust settled, though, there was both men. Alive.

Other than that, words didn't really explain the agony they were feeling, nor the feeling of terror that everyone felt- seeing the glass split in aboslute two. McKain kept himself on the turnbuckle, safe from harm, safe from the glass.. He watched both men breathe heavily, at least allowing him the proof that both men were indeed alive still.

Who was going to be the first to move on this unstable floor?!

(I apologize for the delay.
