Kade slowly got to his feet as he watched Sands doing the same. Rising his fists, he extended and closed his hands telling Sands to bring it on. A wild right swing was ducked by Kade. A wild left that was ducked again. A sudden open palm thrust to the mouth from Kade as he ducked another. This time when he came up it was a left jab. This time though when Kade ducked the wild right he was greeted with a planted left knee to the face. Quickly stumbling back, Kade could feel the blood gushing out of his nose.
Grabbing the ropes to keep from falling he was easy pickings it seemed like. A hard right European upper cut almost launched Kade over the top rope. A rib breaking left to the body followed by a kick to the knee dropped Kade. It was followed with a right knee to the face that knocked him almost out of the ring. Laying over the bottom rope with his top half on the outside he felt the pulling of Sands.
Stepping behind the champion, Sands begun drilling forearms into the chest of the champion who was still on his knees. After roughly the sixth one Kade finally crumbled to the mat. As he watched the champion lay on his back. Sands again tried for the cover attempt. This time though he hooked the leg.

Suddenly, Kade grabbed the right arm used to hook the leg and spun right into the "Lights Out" triangle choke. The fans came alive at this quick motion as the champion locked the hold even tighter. Getting his feet under him Sands wanted to power out of the hold but he wasn't sure the strength he had left from the brawl. And the fleeting oxygen was causing a problem.
Leaning in slightly Kade felt Sands was going to try something. Releasing the hold, Sands almost fell over from him swinging up with such force. Kade however, quickly rolled and got to his feet and in a instance was up in the air. Hooking the head Kade drilled Sands face first right into the mat with "The Last Ride." Rolling on his gut, Kade crawled and barely pushed Sands onto his back. Placing just a arm over Sands the ref counted.

The ref's hand was within in the slightest of centimeters of coming to three as Sands rolled to his gut. It was now Kade's turn to wonder what he had to do to put Sands down. And for Sands to wonder what he had left.
