Dr. Spock? He can't help you now!

by Kveldulf

Kveldulf reaches up and checks the damage to his nose. Not broken, but a cut has developed so a little blood seeps out. Rolling his head around, the Reaver works the kinks out of his neck before focusing back onto his target. He sees Undead Enigma currently leaning in a corner, his right eye starting to swell and become a vision issue. The White King walks over and grabs him by the wrist, whipping him out into the ring and then right back into the turnbuckle chest first. As UE steps back holding his sternum Kveldulf steps to the side slightly, grabbing him and dropping back with a Russian legsweep. Kveldulf goes for a quick pin.

As the referee goes for the three, Synn jumps up on the apron as a distraction. The official breaks the count to deal with her, bringing frustration to the Reaver also. So he will have to neutralize her antics at some point if he wants any chance to win the first round of the tournament. As Kveldulf stands up, Undead Enigma lashes out with a knuckle punch to the back of his thigh. The Reaver grips his leg as a charlie horse knot sets in while Synn drops back to the arena floor. The Necromancer gets to his feet, holding his head for a moment before moving forward to apply the Claw of Enigma to the back of the White King's neck.

Applying the pressure, the Enigmatic One forces his opponent down to his knees and giving him more leverage. The referee checks to see if the Reaver wishes to submit. Gritting his teeth, Kveldulf endures the pain for now as he thinks of a way to break the hold. Reaching up, the White King grabs UE's forearm and digs his fingers in and then pulls to the side. Though it looks like what kids use to do as Indian burns, actually the Reaver gets hold of the tendon and applies pressure by pulling on it to the side. Letting go, the Necromancer grabs the top of Kveldulf's head and delivers several punches to the temple before forcing his foe to his feet. With a short whip, the Enigmatic One pulls the Reaver into a kitchen sink knee lift. Then he drops an elbow to the back of head and goes for a pin himself.

The White King kicks out at two and a half. Undead Enigma gets to his feet, pushing the referee over complaining that the Reaver pulled his hair again as part of the escape. Kveldulf rolls over to the ropes to use them to help him up, but Synn waits there while the official isn't looking. Reaching up, she grabs the Reaver's head and drops to the floor, snapping his neck across the middle rope. Undead Enigma then goes on the attack, stomping down on his foe along the right leg and side. Picking him up, the Necromancer drops him back to the mat with a body slam. Repeating the move, instead of dropping him onto the mat, UE slams the White King into a corner and then locks the legs into a Tree of Woe position against the turnbuckle.

Taking a step back, the Enigmatic One begins with several kicks to the gut. Then he runs across the ring, bouncing off the ropes and comes back full steam with a knee attack, throwing all his weight into it. The force alone loosens the Reaver so that he falls free to the ground. With a push from his foot, UE forces his foe to the outside while turning and taunting the audience. Synn just watches the side, keeping her eye on both creatures. The White King slowly crawls to his feet, stumbling a little as he slumps against the timekeeper's area with his arms out in front of him. The referee continues with the ten count for the moment, but Undead Enigma interrupts him for the moment. Synn steps closer to the Reaver, to see what he is up to, as he looks like he's fidgeting with something. Before she can duck or step away, Kveldulf swings wide with the ring bell, clocking her across the side of the head and knocking her to the ground.

Dropping the bell to the floor and with another set of wind, the Reaver slides under the bottom rope to continue the match. The White King dodges UE's first attack and comes back with a toe kick to the gut. Grabbing his foe's arms, Kveldulf pulls them over the Enigmatic One's back and lifts him up. Spinning around to face the center of the ring, the Reaver drops him with a tiger bomb to the mat. Keeping the momentum, the White King takes the Necromancer's legs and takes a step forward. Then crossing them over his knee, Kveldulf begins to turn Undead Enigma over into a sharp shooter submission.
