The lights dim down over the entrance area, announcing the arrival of the second contender for this match. A dense fog begins to settle on the stage, enveloping the entrance. A figure can be seen pacing in the mist, only his shadow visible from a sole backstage light shining out into the arena. Then Amatory's 'Broken World' begins to play over the sound system speakers as the figure begins to slow its pace down and looks out, the electric blue eyes visible. Kveldulf steps out onto the entrance ramp from the mist as the first metal segment begins with his arms raised up, pausing for a moment to look over the crowd, clean shaven and his short hair a mix of fire engine red as the base and highlights of dark blue, spiked with hair putty. A couple black lights pass over his head, having the reactive hair glow neon in the ultraviolet rays.
The fans scream and raise signs up bearing his name and the House of Ivory emblem. Wearing gray wash moto denim jeans with a black leather belt, a dark gray pique Henley t-shirt, an open black padded military jacket and black Jacquard sneakers the tattoos flash briefly, even visible under his shirt, as the Reaver heads out onto the stage. Kveldulf stands at the top of the ramp, looking down at the lion's den in front of him. The House of Ivory's disdain for that breed of undead isn't any secret so it's not much surprise to the Reaver after his win over Undead Enigma and the personal animosity between them that Viper may step forth to witness the match against the Ripper. He figured she wouldn't remain silent for the entire tournament. In fact, more vampires may appear during the match, especially if Kveldulf starts to get the upper hand to root for the madman. Now whether they remain as spectators or get involved is what remains to be seen.
The White King's eyes focus on the two other men at the announcer's table momentarily. Now Rage and Nobody have started to affiliate themselves with Viper, making them potential targets and adversaries. Pity, he figured they could have at least remained neutral in the greater scheme of things. Of course they may just been there at the time to party, but the Reaver thinks more likely there is a mutual alliance there. The number of targets amongst the roster continues to grow, while the number of possible allies shrinks. But that is the nature of good and evil, light and dark. In that constant battle, the darkness always has the upper hand in numbers. The light just has higher quality fighters. Well, in an ideal scenario that's how it would be. Kveldulf's study of the 'Light' roster members has left him questioning whether they have the constitution to see this through to the end and do what is necessary.
The Reaver then takes his eyes to the two 'security guards' outside the cage. He caught the altercation at the top of the ramp, but without any microphone he couldn't tell what they were arguing about over the sound of the crowd. Kveldulf isn't a lip reader so it possibly could have been about the ambush, about the match, perhaps about something else entirely. And if the ambush, how much did they tell the Ripper? How much did the leader of the Liston Edge Society know about the target the White King has placed on his back? That may work into the Reaver's favor later if mistrust can be cultivated amongst the members. He'll have to put some thought into that for a future plan. Then he looks at the madman, waiting patiently in the ring, ready and tensed for a fight as he found only disappointment earlier.
Walking down the ramp way Kveldulf gives some of the fans high fives, stopping for a moment to give a child his jacket. Then pulling off his shirt, he tosses it on the other side of the entrance way a few rows back. Cracking his knuckles, he looks at the steel cage and the Ripper standing inside of it, pacing for the match to begin. The White King takes a few more steps and notices movement as Ed and Jed begin to move to intercept. Ed hops onto the steps and closes the cage door as he passes by, latching it shut and locking it in a swift motion. Until Kveldulf enters the ring and the bell sounds, the match won't officially begin and the two vampires are aware of that. Meaning anything before hand is technically legal and fair. As an official fumbles to find the key to open the cage, the Reaver takes a defensive stance to prepare for the assault.
