As Seth stood up, his anger was flowing and flowing quickly! The wounds and broken nose had already begun healing. But that was no consolation for what had happened. Payback was going to be a bitch. Standing Seth walked over the time keeper and quickly shoved him to the floor, yanking his folding chair away.
Folding it he made two quick strides towards a kneeling Devil. His hand had just gotten up but did nothing to actually stop what happened next. The sickening thud of the steel chair bending and molding itself to the shape of Devil's skull caused a giant gasped from the crowd.
"Oh my god!" JR yelled out.
"That was the damndest chair shot I ever saw!" Booker T shouted. Devil slowly crumbled to his back as Seth looked up at Viper.
"Hey what comes after four? Is it five or eight?" She asked.
"I think that camera guy on the other side of the ring knows." Seth paused as he put his hands on the ring. Nodding she walked over to the camera man. The director smartly put the camera on her.
"So is it five or eight?" She asked.
"Well technically it is five. But I've never trusted the whole order of numbers thing." The camera man spoke.
On the other side of the ring, Devil had rolled onto his stomach and began the slow process of pushing himself up. Getting to his knees, he reached out for an announcers table to get up. However, he had no time to go any further as a second steel chair slammed into the back of his head.
"Good god almighty! Good god almighty this has got to stop!" JR yelled. Throwing the chair down, Seth glared at the limp body of Devil. If he would have just fought him straight up. No stupid tricks. No need to bust his opponent open in the first thirty seconds. Then he wouldn't be laying in a heap.
"Seth? The camera guy and I have talked and we've concluded we are going to go with five but we want to live the option of six open just so if the rules ever change we'll be on the correct schedule."
"Good to know." Seth nodded. Devil again tried pulling himself up. Only this time much slower then before. Grabbing the hair of Devil, he pulled him up and tossed him into the ring. Rolling in after him, Seth went for a cover.
And being a ring vet, Devil knew the exact timing it'd take to raise his arm up to avoid a three count. A three count even he would admit was fairly paced. Being pulled to his feet once again, Devil grabbed for his head. Shoving Seth away, he stopped for just a second before delivering a well placed punch to Seth' nose. Stumbling back, Devil saw his chance and had to take it.
A well placed kick to the knee, followed by a upper cut, and a boot to the knee had Seth hunched over. Quickly executing a swinging neck breaker, Devil scooted away. While he wanted to keep on pace to attacking Seth. He also knew he was going to need to again his footing. Slowly getting up, he waited for Seth to sit up before delivering a well placed kick to the spine.
A second followed a kick to the ribs as Seth was on his knees now. Another kick to the gut caused him to hunch just slightly as Devil grabbed him around the neck and then drilled him for a DDT. Getting himself together, Devil quickly hopped to his feet and slammed his knee into the base of Seth's neck. A second, followed by a third quickly placed as Devil had some sense of control in what was already a bloody and violent battle.
