Without warning the arena is cast into absolute darkness as the fans are treated to the opening strains of Ostego Undead and as the crowds start to cheer, the trons begin violently flashing images of the Salem landscape, passing over and then through the infamous sites where the Salem Witch Trials were held. The cameras pause at the Salem Witch Museum along with the Witch Dungeon, the wax museum, the Witch House, the Haunted House and the House of the Seven Gables. Gasps and more cheers rise up as the crowds watch the residents and tourists walk along the city that appear frozen in time. And as the music grows louder, each time elapsing image, quickens, the camera racing faster till the fans feel as if they're literally traveling through history until it finally rests on the city's largest cemetary.
While the crowds are transfixed by the experience, a thundering display of pyros begin exploding from the stage, sending endless cascades of glowing lights seemingly into the stands themselves! The display continues till the fans are in an uproar of deafening cheers and frenzied applause, knowing that Straight To The Grave is about to begin any second..then with a final explosion of fireworks, the lights began to slow and the time elapsed imagery seemed to spiral towards the very arena the fans were sitting in!
After several more moments of this, the thunderous applause quiets down to a dull roar as the screens changed and at the centers, the DWF logo burned brightly and the fans could see themselves on the screen as the cameras panned throughout the arena cutting to the cheering fans holding up their signs..
When the lighs finally came up, the music changes as a costumed J.R., King, Cole and Booker T were taking their seats at the announcer's table. J.R is attired as the Sooner's quarterback except for his trademark black Stetson, King is dressed up as King Henry the 8th while Booker is dressed like a Werewolf but as the camera settles on Cole, the crowds and his fellow announcers are laughing over him being dressed up as Lady Gaga.
J.R: "Welcome to Straight To The Grave! Tonight's going to be another slobberknocker folks as the DWF's flagship pay per view takes over the airwaves!"
King: "Couldn't have said it better myself Jim, just look at the card we've got and every title is on the line tonight! Tonight we'll see new champion's crowned and current champions fight to hang on, can they?!"
Booker: "Werd King, tonight we'll see a NEW Intercontinental champion crowned and this battle will be waged between Devil and the resurrected Gideon! Couldn't happen on a better night as Halloween! Then we'll watch the first ever DWF T.V. championship crown it's first champion and this one will be decided between none other than Aggression champion, Crymzon Payne as he takes on Strikezone champion, Jason! And people, this one seems personal!"
Cole: "What the hell guys?! Which one of you sent me that note that we were all dressing up as famous female singers???"
J.R., King and Booker look at each other and laugh
J.R: "Well here's a controversial championship match that to be honest has left me scratching my head and of course i'm speaking of Kveldulf The Reaver taking on The Dark Requiem in a title vs title match. Which incidentally came from the same merged title. Kveldulf is the undisputed Universal champion but The Darkling has laid claim to the cWe and DDW titles!"
Booker: "Yea dawg, i'm not sure how this one is going to play out but it'll be interesting to say the least and you don't get surreal match ups l ike this anywhere else! Both of these men have held many championships over their careers and neither of these men have ever shown any mercy in doing so"
King: "Let's just hope this one gets settled tonight, this one has hurt my royal brain since the whole thing started. Heard corporate has been buying aspirin by the case!"
Cole: "If you want controversy, you've come to the right place and the icing on this controversy cake is iced by even more controversy with the addition of a live Viper's Pit and you know she never skimps on the venom. Then we move onto Crymzon Payne who has been bringing the controvery by running his mouth on basically everyone since he returned and he'll be speaking his mind again before his big match up"
King: "Got that right and we'll also hear from Killburn who's been in league with the recently fired Undead Enigma. Wonder if he's going to continue UE's work or if he asked for the airtime to pull out"
Booker: "Haha and here's two of my favorites, Rage and Nobody who'll be hosting the Halloween Costume contest and there's never no telling what'll happen with those two! Hey Cole, you should get in on some of that haha!"
Cole: "Very funny Booker, I bet you sent the note"
Booker: "I don't know what you're talking about"
J.R. "And to kick it all off we'll be hearing from the president herself and she might have something to say about the recent remarks in regard to Crymzon Payne and Seth"
King: "Without further adieu, let's get it on! Straight To The Grave is live!"
